Yeah it sucks but I love it anyway.

First real attempt at sculpting anything. I know it isn't all that realistic in the face, I'm horrible at faces. I've done busts before and it seems I can only get them right and normal if they're big.

Body - aluminum alloy wire, white sculpey, Anita's brand Arcylics
Wings - white sheer organza, green watercolor paint, three coats of Elmer's white glue

Glass leaf beads are haning from the wings and there's a silver chain around her neck with a small key originally made for scrapbooking or charm bracelets. The chain was an anklet but oh well. I never used it anyway =P

There are also silver markings on her back around the wings but I can't get a good picture of it so oh well. It looks cool IRL.

Very nice piece for a beginning.
I look forward to seeing your future sculptures as they should be exceptional.

This is amazing! I can't sculpt to save my life. ^^; The face looks pretty good, actually, considering her eyes are closed and everything. (her wings look kinda cloth-y XD Not that it matters.)

I will I will. And if George Lucas doesn't need one of my sculptures I'll send it along. *wink wink nudge*
I really wanna make a male, I think I said that before, but he'll be my next project when I get the free time.

I did pay $60 for it *gripmoancomplain* I shouldn't be griping at you I need to gripe at Laura though. Oh well. I WILL however gripe at you for not drawing more... or at least not putting it up here so I can see it ^_~ You're going to Art college, baby, practice makes perfect =3

You and her definitetly don't suck.

If this is your first sculpture, then do more. You'll only get better.

By the waay this one is fantastic. Especially for a first timer.

My only suggestion is to keep doing whatever it is you're worst at.

"Make your weaknesses your strengths." my art teacher always said.

Okay. First off. Do not ever let me catch you saying this sucks again. In fact, I DEMAND that you remove that from your picture description. Are we clear m'dear? *beams*

Now, those wings are *pure* genius! Seriously! I may have to lift that technique from you when I do my toku sculptures (note me if you want to know more lovey).

You really need to do more work like this, how tall is it? Is it very strong? Can you make more of them? What kind of pricing do you think you'd sell them for, if you chose to sell it at all?

Heh, I just wrote out this long comment and DEV ART ATE IT! *cries*

Anyway, she's 10 inches including wings, very solid, I can make more, I have no idea how much to price them at, but how would I ship them? Solid as she is the hair and hands could break off, knowing the dad gum shipping companies. Even bubblewrap might not work. I dunno.

And I'll think about taking off the "it sucks" Statement if you spill everything about those sculptures in un notomento. No that isn't a word XD Yeah I'm dumb... gotta love being up at 130 am and being a little nutty from sudafed.

hmmmmmm there's got to be a way to ship them. And I'm thinking about conventions, that's why I asked. Fantasy conventions, the larger ones, have some beautiful sculptures... and it's something that a *lot* of fantasy fans would love to buy.

Wow, cool... I just don't know of any around Dallas or Fort Worth. I dunno. Houston is a five hour drive from where I live... but... ugh gas prices. *shrugs* It would be nice if it would work out.
