First real attempt at sculpting anything. I know it isn't all that realistic in the face, I'm horrible at faces. I've done busts before and it seems I can only get them right and normal if they're big.
Body - aluminum alloy wire, white sculpey, Anita's brand Arcylics
Wings - white sheer organza, green watercolor paint, three coats of Elmer's white glue
Glass leaf beads are haning from the wings and there's a silver chain around her neck with a small key originally made for scrapbooking or charm bracelets. The chain was an anklet but oh well. I never used it anyway
There are also silver markings on her back around the wings but I can't get a good picture of it so oh well. It looks cool IRL.
This is amazing! I can't sculpt to save my life. The face looks pretty good, actually, considering her eyes are closed and everything. (her wings look kinda cloth-y XD Not that it matters.)
LOL! Thanks... that means alot to me coming from you hun. ^_~ I just say it sucks because I can see all the things wrong with it. And because I'm a perfectionist... T_T But thank you so much for thinking so highly of it.
You did it!!! XDDD woo! *knew you could all along....* I think the face looks awesome, actually (esPECIALLY for your first time so nya), even if i don't have my glasses on ; but that's beside the point. I love the pose, and EVERYTHING. The hair's cool too. Nice touch with the wings, and necklace/anklet *wishes she could see it in RL.....hell, wishes she could see YOU in RL...grumble*
I look forward to seeing your future sculptures as they should be exceptional.
